Won-chang Choi

I received my Ph.D. in Economics from Washington University in St. Louis. Starting September 2025, I will join Yonsei University School of Business as an Assistant Professor of Finance. My research explores the idea of slow-moving capital and examines how market frictions, such as trading costs and information asymmetry, influence asset price dynamics. I also analyze how real capital reallocation frictions affect misallocation and aggregate productivity dynamics. Additionally, I investigate the broader implications of inelastic financial markets for the macroeconomy.
